Tushy is the loveliest way to clean your dirtiest bits. Promise. Let us explain. It all started when founder, Miki Agrawal experienced different bathroom cleaning rituals – from the Indian lota to the tune whistling Japanese bidet. Inspired by the simple joys of this daily ritual (and shocked that American toilet habits haven’t changed since the 1800’s), she created Tushy.

So Tushy is a water bidet that attaches to your toilet seat and connects to the water system that can be set up without a plumber. It required no electricity and is a breeze to set up!

They say that, “A simple spray of water post-poo not only straight up ~*feels good*~, but it also helps prevent gross butt syndrome (i.e., hemorrhoids, UTIs, general germy stank).”

We can’t help but agree. Water cleans better than paper, and frankly, it reaches where toilet paper can’t. Plus if you weren’t convinced with the cleanliness and hygiene part, using Tushy, we mean a water bidet is environmentally, friendlier too. A week with Tushy sets you back with 1.8 gallons of water impact while with toilet paper that number is 55 gallons. Plus Tushy has joined hands with Samagra, an organisation providing access to clean toilets around the developing world.

Why we love Tushy: In their own words — Do it for yourself, but(t) your lover(s) will thank you, too.
