10 Jun Kiddify: A Safe, Online Space for Children to Flourish in the Digital Age.
Founder: Paula Laurel Jackson
A “How-to” video platform for kids and by kids. KIDDIFY is a peer-to-peer global video platform where children and youth aged 8 through 18 can share their skills and talents with each other by creating their own video tutorials.
Founder of Kiddify Paula Jackson has found a way the already digital-savvy generation can also become empathetic, culturally aware and empowered to create and make — all while learning from their peers around the world.
KIDDIFY’s mission is “to nourish the innate curiosity and creativity that all individuals have when they are born.” Each video submitted on the platform is reviewed, translated into different languages and categorised into the country of origin and skill. KIDDIFY users can learn new skills, languages, feel empowered and ultimately learn about each other.
Why we love Kiddify: Peer-to-peer learning can have a tremendous potential as it recognises the potential of learning by doing and by seeing.
